I couldn’t be more excited about this incredible marketing journey I get to experience with you!

My Name is Megan Shane, I am 30 years old with two Blue Heelers, Buoy and Bonnie, a Maltipoo, Sadie, and an incredible Fiance, Kody, who I will be marrying on what I believe is the most beautiful island right on the St Lawrence river in August 2021. 

Marketing is my passion, I found a love for design and helping others creatively sell and market themselves and their business about four years ago.

My background ranges from a hairdresser, deckhand, real estate agent, and office manager to just name a few things. I enjoy learning new trades and understanding different careers. Through this I feel I have gained incredible experience to understand how to market through personality. 

To back up, I grew up in New Jersey went to Ogdensburg Elementary, Wallkill High School, and Sussex Technical School. I summered in the 1000 Islands since the day I was born and became an official townie in 2010. The river is my ultimate happy place and I find incredible passion in helping the community. I founded Up River Marketing in 2020 during the COVID 19 Pandemic with a goal of helping businesses bounce back and continue to grow in one of the toughest times.
